Some of our best memories aren't made anywhere fancy — they're made around a fire pit as the sun goes down, or over a quiet cup of coffee while the birds start their morning chorus. That's the sweet life we believe in here at Farmopathy — La Dolce Vita — and it's why nearly everything in this collection is built for living outside, slowing down, and gathering the people you love around something real.
Ray has always loved working with his hands — so when this collection started taking shape, it felt less like something new and more like an extension of who we already are.
Everything Ray builds is functional art — engineered to perform, designed to last, and finished to stop you in your tracks.
Each piece is shaped by hand, one at a time, for those who want something no one else will ever have — built to hold up to a Texas summer, gather friends and family around it, and last for generations to come. Proudly made in the Texas Hill Country.

The Perch Collection
A Story Worth Sharing
My dad always said he'd find a way to let me know he was still around — and cardinals have been keeping that promise ever since. They show up in the most unexpected moments, like a wink from him on an ordinary day. Lately, he's been showing off, dancing right in front of our car mirrors.
Building these feeders brings me back to him in the best way. He spent his days crafting pieces for pet stores — mostly aquarium work — and some of my favorite memories are standing beside him in his shop, watching what his hands could make. I think about him every time I start something new.

Heather and I love nothing more than watching who pulls up a perch on any given evening — some nights it's a whole little party out there, depending who shows up.
Each feeder is made by hand: cedar cut from our property, corks gathered from local Fredericksburg vineyards, and those gorgeous purple stones — flint, gathered by Heather on hikes with our lab, Maverick. Every piece Ray builds starts with the same question: will this hold up? Steel legs are engineered for stability, not just style — many pieces are powder-coated to withstand the intensity of our Texas sun, while others are left to weather naturally right here at the studio, then clear-coated by hand to lock in that rich, rustic patina.
The Backyard Bar
Steel legs and frame, finished in your choice of color — the forest green shown here is just one option. We recommend powder coating for a finish built to last outdoors, though hand-painted color is available too. A top sourced to complement your space (this one's titanium granite from Italy). Below, a lower shelf fashioned from reclaimed steel grate, weathered naturally and clear-coated for a rich, rustic-elegant finish — holding a basket of wine or linens within easy reach.
We're happy to design freely, or work alongside your own designer to match an existing vision.
The Martini Table
Fashioned from solid steel, hand-welded piece by piece. The tray top is left raw and clear-coated, with the center intentionally patina'd to protect and bring out that rich, rusted character — a finish that's meant to happen, not hide.
What we love about these: they're perfect anywhere. Grab the handle, and it goes wherever you do — beside a chair by the fire pit, next to the sofa on the porch, or right where the conversation happens to land. A cocktail, morning coffee, a glass of something bubbly, or a little something sweet, always within reach. Gorgeous indoors or out, light enough to move effortlessly, yet grounded enough that a Texas wind won't carry it off.
